One Night Only at The Central

June 3, 2010

Fantastic Night of Local Indie Talent
Toronto band Montague Street will be hosting fellow musicians Caleb Lance and Donovan Woods at The Central (603 Markham Street) on June 24, 2010. The evening promises to be excellent, with the restaurant’s intimate setting, and the complimentary sounds of the local indie artists. There’s no better way to spend an early summer night.

The Musicians
Donovan Woods was voted Toronto’s Best Local Songwriter in NOW Magazine, and Caleb Lance is a new voice with a seasoned sound. Montague Street is a duo that performs original music with spirit, meaning, and energy, using a combination of guitars, harmonicas, saxophones and clarinet, piano, bass, and voice. Montague Street “rocks with its style of indie music” (SNAP Magazine, March 2010).

Beautiful and Successful Weekend in Muskoka for Montague Street

May 25, 2010

Montague Street performed two great shows over the weekend, which was also filled with great weather.

On Friday, May 21, Montague Street played a show to a large and appreciative audience at The Finds and helped the Huntsville cafe and art shop kick off their long-weekend "Creating Outside the Box" art show. Attendance was the largest the venue has seen to date, and Montague Street loved the support from listeners. Later in the weekend, on Sunday, May 23 Montague Street performed all night at The Griffin Gastropub in Bracebridge, enjoying again another great and appreciative audience.

Next Montague Street will appear at The Central on June 24 along with performers Caleb Lance and Donovan Woods.
